EIDR — Blackened Silver Cabochon Ring (12 mm / 8.5 ct Garnet or Onyx, 14 g)

In Nordic lore, Eidr refers to the oath, the sacred bond, a circle that can only be broken at the price of a pact.

This ring is inspired by that symbol:
a heavy band of blackened 925 sterling silver, centered around a 12 mm round cabochon (≈ 8.5 carats) set in a raw, archaic, almost ritualistic mount.

The red garnet embodies ancestral blood, strength, and inner fire;
the black onyx represents compact night, discipline, and self-mastery.

Weighing approximately 14 g of solid silver, EIDR has a strong presence designed to mark the hand with an eternal, mineral seal.

The contours, shadows, textured areas, and irregular reliefs are shaped entirely by hand in my workshop, giving each piece a unique aura and character.

No two rings are ever alike:
every EIDR has its own light, its own depth, its own breath.

🖤 About Blackened Silver (important)

The darkened effect is not paint.
It is a handcrafted surface treatment applied to solid sterling silver,creating a deep patina that settles into the crevices, edges, and textures.

Over time, through friction, daily movement, and natural wear, the silver will gradually reappear on the raised areas.

This evolution is intentional: it gives the ring a living, evolving soul.

Your EIDR will age like an ancient talisman.
